The English language is the lingua franca of today’s industry. It has more than 500 million of users, including native speakers, and those who use it as a second language. The English language is used (obviously) in England, USA, Australia, Canada, or Ireland, but as a language of business and science, it is common also all-over the Europe, in Japan or Germany. National languages borrow a lot of English words used in fast developing fields (such as: electronics, IT, or medicine), that subsequently become part of the everyday language (e.g. video, computer, Internet, laser, decoder, or – after translating - computer mouse).
