"A person responsible for marketing hazardous substances or preparations, is obliged to keep and maintain a record of all hazardous substances or preparations that are in the possession of this person." In accordance with the Act, any manufacturer, distributor, or exporter must hold Material Safety Data Sheet. (Regulation No. 1907/2008/WE [REACH]) in pursuance of Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS). The GHS contains the consolidated criteria for classification of chemical substances and mixtures, in terms of health, and environmental hazards posed by those substances.
